These chargers systematically discharge, trickle and maintain the battery condition, by adjusting how they operate according to battery condition. They can also maintain a good condition battery indefinitely when plugged in and left. 

The unit requireses no user intervention apart from plugging in, and comes supplied with;

1 x Optimate Lead to permanently attach to the bike battery

1 x Crocodile Clip lead you can use on any other 12V battery temporarily
